Loc City is a designated set of 147 GlockBoyz that has gained notoriety and visibility throughout the year in South Chicago, making a significant impact on the local scene. You can typically find these individuals congregating outside of corner stores, lurking in alleyways, or stationed in front of various buildings within their territory. Their activities are characterized by a variety of criminal behavior, which includes selling narcotics, engaging in scams, and carrying out robberies. Alarmingly, it’s been reported that before reaching the mid-point of the year, the crime rate within Chicago has experienced a staggering threefold increase, correlating directly with the actions of the "Loc City" affiliates. Since the onset of this year alone, there have been over 25 robbery incidents linked to these gang members, highlighting their growing influence and the public safety concerns that accompany it. In response to this alarming surge in criminal activity, the Chicago Police Department (CPD) has ramped up their efforts to monitor the area more closely by installing additional surveillance cameras along 51st Dameville Street. While the young teens involved seem to receive some guidance from their older counterparts, one must question whether they possess the intelligence and critical thinking skills necessary to learn from the mistakes and missteps made by their older “big homies.” The gang primarily comprises teenagers aged 15 and older, all of whom are fiercely determined and ready to take on any challenges that come their way. This group is known for their insatiable desire for money and recognition, leading them to identify as EBK, or "Everybody Killa." Loc City has made its mark, but it’s clear that the newer generation of members has taken charge, with two main subsets emerging from the ranks: the Button Boys, one of whom is notably represented by Reeko, who remains incarcerated, and the MooMoo Gang, predominantly featuring Bibby, who was recently released after serving time alongside Reeko. Despite their individual distinctions, both subsets ultimately fall under the broader "Loc City" umbrella, exhibiting a renegade spirit that has come to define their operations within the community. Alongside these issues, the rise of social media has significantly impacted gang violence dynamics. Social media platforms now offer gang members a swift and convenient means of communication, allowing them to engage in private messaging, create group chats, and disseminate public posts that coordinate activities, plan events, and share intelligence regarding rival gangs. This rapid form of communication can rapidly escalate conflicts and contribute to the organization of violent confrontations. Moreover, individuals frequently utilize social media to signify their gang affiliations. This expression can manifest through the posting of specific symbols, colors, hand signs, or any other identifiable markers linked to a particular gang. Such digital representations not only serve to publicly display loyalty but can also trigger rivalries and conflicts with opposing gangs. Additionally, social media serves as a public forum where individuals can voice threats, intimidate rivals, and issue challenges. By using platforms like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to taunt or provoke members of rival gangs, tensions can surge, leading to potential violence spilling over into the real world, thereby perpetuating the cycle of gang-related crime.

SitchyGang - In the vibrant city of Chicago, a tight-knit group of mischievous kids known as SitchyGang roamed the streets, embodying the spirit of their tough surroundings. Comprised of loyal and steadfast friends who had spent nearly all their childhood together in the same economically challenged neighborhood, they faced harsh realities such as poverty and limited opportunities each and every day. “Chicago Gun Laws”
Under a law passed on January 10, 2023, Illinois has defined certain firearms as assault weapons. It is illegal to manufacture, deliver, sell, or purchase an assault weapon. Any assault weapons that are already owned by residents are legal to possess if registered with the state police by January 1, 2024. In Illinois assault weapons include any centerfire semi-automatic rifle with a detachable magazine and one or more of these features: a pistol grip, a thumbhole stock, a folding or telescoping stock, a forward grip, a flash suppressor, a barrel shroud, or a grenade launcher. A number of other rifles, shotguns, and pistols are also defined as assault weapons, including some specific makes and models. Not defined as assault weapons but similarly restricted are. 50 caliber rifles.
The law banning the sale of assault weapons has been the subject of a number of challenges in state and federal courts. At the state level, on January 20, 2023, a circuit court issued a temporary restraining order against the law, which was upheld on appeal; in the following weeks, several other circuit courts issued similar orders. On May 16, the Illinois Supreme Court heard a consolidated case challenging the law. On August 11, 2023, in a 4–3 decision, the Illinois Supreme Court ruled that the assault weapons ban does not violate the state constitution. At the federal level, on February 17, 2023, a federal judge denied a motion to block the law, calling it "constitutionally sound". On April 25, a second federal judge declined to block the law. On April 28, a third judge blocked the law statewide, but on May 4 the block was put on hold by an appellate judge. On May 17, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to issue a temporary injunction against the ban on sales of assault weapons. On June 29, a three-judge panel of the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals heard a consolidated case challenging the law.[68] On November 3, 2023, the appeals court ruled that the law does not violate the Second Amendment. On December 14, 2023, and on July 2, 2024, the U.S. Supreme court again refused to block the law. Additional challenges are in progress in state and federal courts.

Instead of instantly trying to roleplay with the faction, it is recommended that you join our Discord server for a more in-depth look behind the factions infrastructure and how we operate as a whole faction, and what we expect to come from yourself as role-playing any role that is given at the second. Keep in mind that before making your character, That we are portraying a young ruthless street gang roaming the streets of Chicago, However development of your character will be needed, basically on how you roleplay your character and develop your character into being something, and interaction comes into play. It is imperative that you check it frequently to stay up to date with the conversations and topics that are present revolving around the faction within the Discord We have many helpful links to help assist as well as a great high council. We are currently open for new people to come and roleplay with us for a short period of time! We are looking for people who are unique and can bring something new to the roleplay experience within the faction and server itself. You must know and must fully understand the R.O.E rules, You must know how to realistically portray a real teenager, or adult, trying to survive on the streets of Chicago, whether you are going to school, working, or maintaining your hustle. You must know how to do community roleplay. We will be doing things other than "gang banging," so roleplay how you live your life day-to-day. In real life, you do not only focus on the negatives in your life but do the same in-game. Also, gang members are regular people too, you don't have to be extra all the time. Here, you must develop your character from rags to riches, especially if you are a resident. We must physically see you sell drugs, rob people/houses, etc. to make money. With that being said, we need members of this faction to be actively roleplaying with the faction and the area. We do not tolerate any sort of trolling, unrealistic or immature behavior in our faction at all.
