In your own words, what is roleplay? Roleplaying is an immersive experience in which the participants develop and assume fictitious characters, whose actions and interactions are somehow subordinate to some gaming processes. Instead of just hosting the gameplay, gamers ‘role-play’ various members in the society such as the police, the outlaws, the ordinary citizens, and act out particular scenarios and its results in the game. It is about telling interesting stories together while remaining in character and adhering to the roleplay rules of the game. The focus allows the participants to be imaginative and communicative while socializing with other people, allowing them to create a living narrative from the gameworld.
